Hi, my name is Kathy, and I am the creative behind Tilly and Ted.
My handmade journey started when I won the raffle prize of a pair of soccer boots at my brother’s end of year team celebration. The coach took one look at my face (for those who know me well know that I can’t hide my feelings 😊) and felt sorry for me. He then offered me cash instead. The very next day I bought my first sewing machine and as they say, the rest is history. I was hooked! The funny thing is that no-one in my family sewed so I was on my own.
I’m not one for promoting myself so this is a big thing for me to put myself out there for the world to see.
I do hope you will enjoy the process of bringing one of my quilt patterns to life in fabrics of your choice that spark “joy in the making”.
